Brooksville
With nearly 200 years of history, this building was once the U.S. Post Office of the charming, coastal town in Maine where it is located. After sitting vacant for years, the structure and surrounding property were repurposed into a modern-day vacation home for an active family. DK Design was engaged to lead all aspects of this extensive project, from gardens and outdoor living spaces to architectural and interior design. Working closely with local craftspeople, our team added screened porches for dining and lounging, as well as a spa and sun deck. A pea-gravel courtyard houses a grilling center and a fire-pit, while further out in the garden, a gaming lawn and potager provide a plethora of family activity and leisure options.
